In Gmünd, Austria there is a small Porsche museum aswell. Due to the frictions of the war Ferdinand Porsche had moved his production facility from Stuttgart to Gmünd in 1944. It was in Gmünd where the first "Porsche" -branded car saw daylight. It was a hand crafted aluminium 356, the type James Dean lethally crashed in.
It is a nice museum located in a beautiful area.

James Dean did not die in a 356. It was a 550 Spyder.
